An on- and off-air total package redesign for the australian networks Channel Nine. For a perfect design link between all relevant elements, like logo, print, promo, idents, etc., a modular design system was created: color light motion human emotion. Six filmic genre idents use the human emotion level in a glamorous, futuristic, eye-catching way. “Movie” – human as projector, human movements become moving pictures; “sport” – human dynamic motion as stroboscope/ time slices; “infotainment” – light transmits information; “news” – data architecture; “entertainment” – humans in spheres become light shapes; “lifestyle” – floral design and humans as graphical shapes.
