Design studio velvet created and produced a program opener for the drama movies every Wednesday on the Das Erste, the German public TV station.

Life as a constantly turning carousel is used as a symbol for the bandwidth of human emotions. Every new round on that carousel reveals the striking contrast between the most radiant and the darkest moments of life manifested in flawless transitions.

Life’s emotional highlights, the up’s and downs and the drama leave a deep and touching mark on our protagonists.

In order to capture the real emotion, Matthias Zentner, with the splendid craftsmen of Radioactive grip department, developed special circular camera rigs spinning around the stage of a human life drama.
