Torture is used as an instrument of state power in many countries and is not so far away as we all might think.

“Folteropfer” (torture victims) is a social project dedicated exactly to this subject and it´s victims for the Therapy Centre for Torture Victims in Berlin/Germany.

In this social spot director, Matthias Zentner plays with the metaphor of food and everyday life underlined with text excerpts sounding like they come from something that might be a “torture manual”, producing with his images and sound the horrifying impression of pain and sufferings the victims are exposed to.
